The Women's Committee

In 1993, sixteen women joined together to raise awareness and philanthropic funds for Breast Health programs at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital.  Now consisting of over 270 women, The Women’s Committee continues to have a profound impact, having raised millions of dollars to support health and wellness programs for women and their families through their annual fundraisers.

Philanthropy is vital to the Caring Tradition at Martha Jefferson and it is only through continued generous contributions of time, effort and money that we can support these important programs, services, and state-or-the-art technologies.
