Family Advisory Committee

Engaging families in Martha Jefferson activities and exposing them to the vast resources Martha Jefferson Hospital has to offer.

Martha Jefferson Hospital has a singular mission: to make the members of our community healthy, at every stage of life.  The Family Advisory Committee of Martha Jefferson Hospital is an events group created by and for young families in our area.

The Family Advisory Committee was established in 2006 to engage a new generation of local families to help ensure that the hospital built at Peter Jefferson Place is constructed with our needs in mind, and to develop this group as a new generation of community philanthropists.  We are families with and without children, from ages 30 to 50-plus, who will be calling on Martha Jefferson for decades to come.  Our events reinforce Martha Jefferson Hospital as a community asset, providing activities and learning opportunities through the hospital's resources.

Since time has become one of our most valuable commodities, the Family Advisory Committee is designed to enable meaningful and timely interaction on areas of particular interest.  These efforts will illuminate new and important services provided at Martha Jefferson, and create new opportunities specifically designed to address healthcare challenges faced by our families.
