One of Webster's definitions of Partner is "one who shares." During the Centennial Celebration at Martha Jefferson Hospital, we initiated a special new group for recognition, our Centennial Partners. This group of "those who share" was over 130 strong, indeed the central core of support for our Centennial Initiative programs that have grown to such prominence in Heart and Vascular Care, Nursing Care, Women's Health Services and Cancer Care.
To continue the tradition, this year the Foundation has established an annual recognition of "partners" with the Second Century Partners program. The Second Century Partners will provide leadership support for the Hospital's Second Century Initiatives or other programmatic or capital needs designated for special support. Donors recognized as Second Century Partners are those who make a commitment of $5,000 toward the Foundation's Annual Fund.
All Second Century Partner gifts will qualify toward cumulative giving and recognition within the Martha Jefferson Society. Second Century Partners will receive special commemoration and recognition as part of the Foundation's annual giving plaques and in the Foundation's publication Tribute.
