New Hospital Construction Project

On the Healthcare Horizon

Martha Jefferson has developed a new community hospital for Charlottesville and Central Virginia on an 84-acre property at Peter Jefferson Place near Pantops.  The first phase of the new healthcare campus was the Outpatient Care Center, opened in 2003.  Construction of the replacement hospital is complete with the patient move day successfully completed on August 28th, 2011.

The Foundation led the community capital campaign in support of this project. Funds can still be designated in support of the new hospital and commemorative opportunities are available.
