MJ8K Run & 4K Walk ~ March 8, 2008

The Martha Jefferson Hospital's 8K Run and 4k Walk is celebrating its 12th year and typically attracts over 850 participants.  Each year the proceeds benefit an area of need at the Hospital.  This year the beneficiary will be the Martha Jefferson Community Services Outreach programs that promote wellness and a healthy lifestyle, such as First Saturday's Blood Pressure Checks, Supermarket Smarts Classes, Diabetes Education Programs and Health Screenings for adults and school age children ... just to name a few.

The course winds through the historic neighborhoods of Locust, Park,  Main (downtown), and Belmont Streets.  This exciting and challenging course starts and finishes at Martha Jefferson Hospital's Education Center (just one block south of the hospital).
