"In The Pink" Tennis Tournament: A Smashing Success

The 8th Annual In The Pink will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2010

The Seventh Annual "In The Pink" Tennis Tournament was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2009.
This event is organized by The Women's Committee of Martha Jefferson Hospital and is open to
the public. The tournament ran concurrently at six tennis venues throughout Albemarle County
(Farmington, Boar's Head, Glenmore, Keswick, ACAC, and Forest Lakes). A recent addition to the
tournament was "Men in Pink" playing at ACAC. The proceeds from the tournament will benefit
Marianne's Room at Martha Jefferson Hospital.

Proceeds from the Tournament meet the annual needs for the room, purchase additional cancer
care hats and wigs, provide funds for educational outreach and seed money for a Marianne's Room
in the New Hospital.
